Today's teaser is from
Eragon by Christopher Paolini.
Page 127:
The wing crumpled in at the joints and Saphira tucked it firmly against her body. Eragon vaulted over her back and tumbled onto the other wing.
This is a scene where Eragon and his dragon, Saphira, are caught in a freak wind storm. Saphira can't get her wings pulled in and is in danger of being blown away.

I've never read Eragon. I think I might wait and get it when my daughter's a little older. she loves dragons, but I don't think she's quite up to it yet.
The only dragon books I've ever really gotten into are Anne McCaffrey's Pern books. I wonder how this book compares?
I've been wanting to read this book too.
